SPECIALIZED LAB TESTS/“JUST TESTING” PACKAGES

Protect Health's "Just Testing" Packages are perfect if you are looking to learn more about your body & how you can Protect your Health with simple, actionable steps. 

Options Available:

-Micronutrient Testing: This test measures both Extracellular & Intracellular levels for a thorough understanding of your short and long term nutritional status and requirements. Components include vitamins, antioxidants, minerals & some amino acids. Find out how vitamins/minerals are functioning in your body, specific foods to include in your diet, and what supplements you should consider.

-Wheat Zoomer: This test can detect antibodies to wheat peptides, including gluten, along with antibodies that indicate the presence of intestinal permeability & autoimmune reactions to gluten. This test is for you if you are experiencing digestive discomfort, low vitamin D levels (or any vitamin deficiency), difficulty concentrating, low energy, skin issues like eczema, chronic headaches, etc.

- Stool Testing/Gut Health: A look at your gut microbiome to assess potential risks for leaky gut, intestinal, cardiovascular, autoimmune, metabolic & nutritional health conditions. You'll get a dietary roadmap and probiotic/prebiotic recommendations based on your results. This test is for you if you are experiencing: chronic fatigue, chronic pain, digestive issues (bloating, IBS, abdominal pain, constipation), weight issues or any auto-immune disease.

HOW IT WORKS:

Please note that we do not accept insurance for "Just Testing" packages and these packages do not include any review of your current medical history, symptoms, current medications/supplements. You will receive a written interpretation of your results with recommendations that you can share with your physician/healthcare practitioner for further advice.

You can purchase a 30-min Q&A to delve deeper into questions if desired once you receive your interpretation/recommendations.

  • You will receive an email within 3-5 business days with detailed information & instructions regarding the test(s) you have chosen.

COMPLETE YOUR BLOOD DRAW OR STOOL COLLECTION

  • The test kit(s) will be mailed directly to you with instructions on sample collection, which you can do in the comfort of your own home. You will then ship your sample(s) via the prepaid shipping label & instructions in your kit (Don't worry, we guide you through everything!)

AWAIT YOUR TEST INTERPRETATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS!

  • ​All labs take about 3+ weeks to process. Once your results are available, Protect Health's Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will email you with a copy of your results and an interpretation of your results with some lifestyle suggestions, areas of concern, suggestions on what to consider addressing with your physician as well as any supplement recommendations to review with your physician.
